Fleur de Lis has a counselor staff of approximately 35 to work with our girls in their tents and cabins and in activities. All counselors are responsible for either a tent or cabin of approximately 4-6 girls and instruct in one or more activities.

Counselors arrive at camp on the 3rd Saturday of June for seven days of orientation and training prior to the arrival of the campers 1 week later. This allows our staff to become acquainted with each other and the mission, traditions and expectations of Fleur de Lis, it's Director and administrative staff.

It also allows time for the staff to receive comprehensive training in areas such as child development, teaching skills, health and safety.
